ALVSCE Research Administration Goals
- Build on existing research strengths.
- Identify and invest in CALS research infrastructure needs.
- Define and measure productivity and resource generation for research.
- Expand communication on research activities.
- Build tech transfer, intellectual property development, and external business relations/development.
Personnel
Our Research Administration office supports faculty and investigators with grant and contract management support during the life cycle of an award. We work closely with investigators to create timely, accurate, and well-developed proposals that support research projects and provide financial guidance and direction on the proper use of funds ensuring adherence to federal, sponsor, and University guideline.
The Dean's Research Advisory Council (DRAC)
is a standing committee that advises the Associate Dean for Research and the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences on matters pertaining to College research activities.
