Alicia is the primary Research Administrator for Entomology, the School of Plant Sciences and Yavapai County.

Alicia Cool has been a dedicated member of The University of Arizona community since 2002, serving in various roles throughout her tenure. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arizona and joined the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALES) in May 2024. As a Manager of Grants & Contracts, Alicia plays a crucial role in the preaward team, assisting students, faculty, and researchers in crafting successful grant proposals.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Alicia is an avid supporter of the Arizona Wildcats and holds season tickets to the Arizona Women's Basketball games. Go Cats! She enjoys spending time outdoors, running daily, gardening, and traveling with her husband Matt and two children, Amelia (13) and Caleb (10).
